Privacy Policy

Live Pet AI ("we", "us", the "App") is a personal companion app that animates a photo of your pet. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. We built the App to collect as little as possible.

In short: We do not ask for your name, email, or any account sign-up. We do not track you across apps, run ads, or sell your data. The main thing we handle is the pet photo you choose to upload and the animations we create from it — and you can delete all of it at any time.

1. Information we process

Data	Why
Pet photos you upload	To verify the photo shows a pet and to generate animated pet actions from it.
Generated pet videos	Created from your photo and delivered back to your device to display and let you share.
An anonymous device identifier	A random token created on first launch (no name or email) so the App can associate your pets and usage with your device. It is stored securely on your device.
Usage counts	How many pets and generated actions you have used, to enforce free and Pro plan limits.
Purchase status	Whether you hold an active subscription, verified through Apple. We never receive your payment card or Apple ID password.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers.

2. How your photo is used

When you upload a pet photo, it is sent to our backend and then to the service providers below to (a) confirm the image shows a pet and (b) generate animated actions. The photo and the generated videos are stored so the App can show your pet and reuse the animations. They are used only to provide the App's features — never for advertising or to train unrelated models on your behalf.

3. Service providers (sub-processors)

We use a small number of third parties strictly to run the App. Your photo or its URL may be processed by:

Cloudflare R2 — stores uploaded photos and generated videos.
fal.ai — generates the animated pet videos from your photo.
OpenAI — checks that an uploaded image shows a pet (content moderation).
Apple — processes subscription purchases and verification (StoreKit).
Our hosting provider — runs the backend server that coordinates the above.

These providers process data only to perform their function for us. We encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

4. Data retention and deletion

You are in control of your data:

Delete a pet — removes that pet, its uploaded photo, and its generated videos from our storage.
Delete your account — removes your anonymous identifier and all associated pets, photos, videos, and usage records.

We retain uploaded photos and generated videos only for as long as your pet or account exists. Once you delete a pet or your account, the associated files are removed from active storage. Provider-side copies are deleted on their normal retention cycles.

5. Payments

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We receive only a cryptographically signed confirmation from Apple that a valid subscription exists. We never see or store your payment details.

6. Children

Live Pet AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App is built for animals — not people — it is not designed to capture information about any individual.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your device identifier is stored in the iOS Keychain. We restrict access to stored files to the systems that provide the App's features.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete your data. Because we do not collect identifying information, the most direct way to exercise these rights is to use the in-app delete options, or to contact us. We will honor valid deletion requests.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
